Nicolas V. Sanchez utilizza un piccolo taccuino per realizzare disegni iperrealistici incredibilmente dettagliati. L’artista trasforma un semplice oggetto quotidiano, come un taccuino, in un vero e proprio museo tascabile. Sfogliando le sue pagine si possono ammirare animali, studi anatomici e nuotatori che sembrano saltare fuori dalla carta, disegnati con una precisione straordinaria usando semplici penne colorate. Sanchez ha conseguito il Bachelor of Fine Arts presso il Kendall College of Art and Design di Grand Rapids e il Master of Fine Arts alla New York Academy of Art. Oltre ai disegni, crea anche dipinti e opere a carboncino.
